Salem Brotherhood Uganda is seeking to recruit qualified persons to fill the following vacancies
1. Nursing and Midwifery Tutors {Fulltime)
4 Positions (1 for Nursing; 3 for midwifery)
The Tutors shall be responsible for delivering lectures and practical demonstration as per the approved curriculum, monitorlng students during field attachments, setting and marking exams and participating in co-curricular activities.
Qualifications, experience and skills:
- A post graduate degree or diploma in medical education from an institution recognized by NCHE.
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Midwifery.
- Registration and a valid license from respective regulatory bodies.
- Ms. office proficient
- At least 2 years of working experience in a similar or related field
Key personal attributes and competencies:
- A proven record of ethical conduct, integrity and professionalism
- A good understanding of regulatory, educational and health dynamics in Uganda
- Performance driven and action oriented
2. School Warden (1 Position)
The warden shall oversee routine administrative tasks of housing/accommodation, hygiene and sanitation, food and Nutrition.
Qualifications, experience and skills:
A diploma in lnstitutional catering and hygiene, Environmental sciences/Public health, Social work and Administration, Public Administration and management from a recognized institution.
Key person attributes and competencies:
- Experience in working with public institutions, i.e.school environment
- Proven understanding of working with adolescents and adults
- Knowledge In nutrition and environmental health dynamics
- Ability to cope and work under rapidly evolving conditions.
3. Laboratory Technician-Medical (1 Position)
To carry out basic laboratory analysis
Qualifications,experience and skills:
- A diploma is laboratory technology/techniques.
- Must be registered with Allied Health Professional Council and in in possession of a valid practicing license.
- Should possess skills in LQMS, Biosafety and Biosecurity
Key person attributes and competencies:
- Records and information management
- ICT Skills in EMR
